Brussels sprouts with bacon are a tasty and tasty vegetable side dish that you can also serve as an appetizer and I am sure it will amaze even those who do not like this often snubbed or forgotten vegetable. Personally, I really enjoyed this combination and above all the originality of the skewers and the contrast between the crispness of the bacon and the softness of the Brussels sprouts inside, not to mention the extra touch given by the maple syrup and paprika that make all even more special.   • 450 gr of Brussels sprouts
  • 150 gr of bacon
  • 1 tablespoon of paprika
  • 2 tablespoons of maple syrup

Method

How to make Brussels sprouts with bacon

First clean the sprouts (remove the more damaged outer leaves and the base), then blanch them in boiling water for 2-3 minutes.

Drain the sprouts well, wrap them in the bacon and close with a skewer.
Then cook for about 10 minutes at 180 ° in a preheated convection oven.

Meanwhile, prepare the glaze by combining the maple syrup with paprika and a pinch of salt and pepper in a small bowl.
Once out of the oven, immediately glaze the rolls with the paprika mixture, then put in the oven for another 10 minutes or until golden brown.

Brussels sprouts with bacon are ready, serve immediately.
