Lies stuffed with Nutella

Nutella filled lies are fried desserts that are prepared for Carnival. It is a dough similar to that of small talk (lies, galani, rags or whatever you like) that is rolled out into sheets, stuffed with nutella, fried and sprinkled with powdered sugar. Do you know the agnolotti, the famous format of fresh pasta? Here, just like that, but much more greedy because sweet: P
With this recipe I entered the heart of the Carnival recipes and it was even now I would say, so I leave you at lies stuffed with nutella and stay tuned because other delicacies await you in the next few days;)

  • Doses for 20 lies:
  • 250 gr of 00 flour
  • 40 gr of sugar
  • 30 g of butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 20 ml of limoncello
  • a pinch of baking powder
  • vanilla essence
  • 200 gr of Nutella
  • seed oil
  • icing sugar
(100 ml = 3.4 fluid oz. – 100 grams = 3.5 ounces – 1 liter = 34 fluid oz. – 1 kilogram = 2.205 pounds – 100C° 212F° – 180C° 356F°)
  • preparation: 30 min
  • cooking: 10 min
  • total: 40 min + 30 min of rest

Method

How to make Nutella stuffed lies

In a large bowl put the flour and sugar, make a hole in the center and add the butter cut into chunks, the eggs, the limoncello, the yeast and the vanilla essence. Start kneading from the center by gradually absorbing all the flour.
Transfer the dough on a pastry board and continue to work it until it becomes smooth and homogeneous.
Cover it with plastic wrap and let it rest for half an hour.
Once resumed, cut one piece at a time and roll it out with the pasta machine starting from a numbering that makes the dough more double and gradually reaching a thinner one.

Place the sheets obtained on a floured surface.

Stuffed with small piles of Nutella, well spaced, half of the sheets.
Moisten the edges of the dough and cover with another layer to make it stick.
Divide the pasta into squares by cutting between one filling and another.

Seal the edges well.

Fry 2-3 lies in boiling oil at a time, turning them a few times.
Once lifted, transfer them to absorbent paper to remove excess oil.

Sprinkle the nutella-filled lies with the icing sugar and bring it to the table.
