This is my mom’s recipe that prepares the milk potatoes stuffed with ham and cheese, a real delight that the whole family likes. Despite the presence of milk, its taste is not at all perceptible, so don’t be skeptical and try this recipe 🙂

  • Ingredients for 4 people:
  • 600 gr of potatoes
  • 100 gr of cooked ham
  • 150 gr of scamorza cheese
  • 20 gr of butter
  • 400 ml of milk
  • salt
  • pepper
  • nutmeg

Method

How to make Stuffed Milk Potatoes

Peel the potatoes and slice them into very thin slices.

Now lay the potato discs until completely covered with a buttered baking dish.
Salt, pepper and make a grated nutmeg on the potato layer.

Cover with a layer of sliced ​​cheese and then a layer of cooked ham.

Form another layer of potatoes now.

Now pour the milk until it almost completely covers the potatoes, salt, pepper and garnish with curls of butter.

Bake the stuffed milk potatoes and cook for 30/40 minutes in the oven at 180 ° or until all the milk is absorbed.

Grate the surface before baking.

Once pulled from the oven, let the milk-filled potatoes cool for a few minutes before serving.
